Do you love horses? Are you an avid rider with barn experience? The equestrian programs at our camps are the perfect way to spend your summer!
Safety, fun and skill development are major goals established for our riders. Stable management is an important part of the Equestrian staff’s responsibilities as well as a component of the instructional program.
All riders enjoy small group instruction, allowing for individual attention. Children are placed in small groups based on their skill level. Instuctors teach betweeen 4-6 activity periods a day and are sensitive to individuals at all skill levels from beginners to experienced riders. Instruction is ring-based. Some camps have facilities for trail rides as well. Staff is expected to be competent, experienced riders with a patience and willingness to teach. Some camps teach both English and Western riding.
